[Pkg-cryptsetup-devel] cryptsetup-support for offsets

Hi,

for a project I am doing I have to use the offset parameter of
cryptsetup to store some information without having it on a filesystem.

While the binary supports this, the scripts in
/lib/cryptsetup/crypto.functions do not. In order to have a offset=
parameter in /etc/crypttab to automatically pass this parameter to
cryptsetup, I added it to the parse_opts function. Diff attached,
against version 1.0.5-1.

Could you please consider this for inclusion in future versions of the
cryptsetup package?
