Well, it is of course a bug in usplash. Termintating usplash from
cryptsetup is (the only) workaround for this problem. And this is what
this bug is about.

I see that you disagree here, and so does Matrin appearently. I also
hope that usplash get fixed soon, so that this workaround can be
removed.
