'cryptdisks cryptdisks-early' are two scripts provided by cryptsetup;
they ask passwords needed to unlock crypted volumes ; (I use it for my
/home)

'checkfs-loop' is basilarly almost identical to 'checkfs.sh' so I
thought that it should enjoy the same 'interactive' status; it is part
of the package 'loop-aes-utils'; it reads thru the list of such volumes,
and fsck-checks all crypted volumes after they are unlocked and mounted

sorry I did not know about that; oh well, this would make a lot of sense
(and actually it is a good alternative to what is proposed in bug 458224)

what is the syntax? is it the same as /etc/insserv.conf ? if not, can
you provide me with a sample file? I may post bugs to the relevant packages
