I have the package ready for upload, but intended to test it on some
uncommon setups before uploading.

I hope to find time for the tests within the next days, and then I'll
upload immediately.

as far as I know, both packages already ship the libdevel files in
/usr/lib, that's why I initiated the discussion on debian-devel.
