Dear Maintainer,
I am trying to unlock and mount, at boot time, a truecrypt (AES)
partition.
Since cryptsetup v1.6.0, support was added for unlocking truecrypt
(normal and system-encrypted) partitions and, using cryptsetup from CLI,
I am able to unlock said partition.
My entry in /etc/crypttab reads
> truecrypt /dev/sda /etc/tcrypt.key tcrypt-system
And should unlock the disk. Instead, I am receiving this error (manually
generated invoking 'cryptdisks_start truecrypt' from root)
> [....] Starting crypto disk.../usr/sbin/cryptdisks_start: 1: export:
> CRYPTTAB_OPTION_tcrypt-system: bad variable name
Installing cryptsetup v1.7.0-git from directly compiled sources did not
solve the problem.
A current, possible workaround is to invoke cryptsetup from
/etc/rc.local followed by mount -a (if there are the correspondent fstab
entries) or by a series of 'mount' commands, specific to the unlocked
disk.
This should not be necessary, though; can this error be fixed?
(Also, unrelated, cryptsetup 1.6.2 is available, so this could be fixed
when updating; 1.6.1 has some issues with handling truecrypt devices,
which, to my understanding, were fixed in 1.6.2)
Tnanks,
Claudio Moretti
