Hi,
While working on the “reproducible builds” effort [1], we have noticed
that cryptsetup could not be built reproducibly.
The attached patch uses the -u flag to the date command used for
manpages timestamps to return UTC date. Once applied, cryptsetup can be
built reproducibly in our current experimental framework.
I also simplified the commands used to extract the version and date from
dpkg-parsechangelog using the -S option.
