[pkg-cryptsetup-devel] Bug#809814: cryptsetup: does not decrypt a split /usr as required by initramfs-tools >= 0.118

Package: cryptsetup
Version: 2:1.6.6.5

Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

on my 64-bit Acer Aspire it is not possible, to decrypt a split /usr. I figured
out, that reverting to initramfs-tools 0.116 fixes the situation.

This bug is well described in Bugnr. #767832, which is already closed.
Please reopen this bugreport or take it as a reference (because it is related
to a lower version of cryptsetup).

I do not know, if initramfs-tools or cryptsetup is responsible for the bug.

However, the bug appears, when I boot, then the prompt for decryption for /usr
appears, but with the correct password I can not open it.

It would be nice, if you could take a look at it again.

Thank you very much.

Best regards

Hans-J. Ullrich
