Package: cryptsetup
Version: 2:1.7.3-4
Severity: normal
Tags: patch
I recently tried to use an RSA key on my Yubikey to unlock my root
partition, using pcscd/opensc.
Following the instructions in README.opensc led me to a long wait, as
the "smartcard" (which the key presents itself as) was never detected,
because multiple libraries were not copied into the initramfs.
After copying these files in manually, the pcsc daemon did not start,
because the script pointed at the wrong location (/sbin instead of
/usr/sbin).
I've attached 2 patches, based on current git
(https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-cryptsetup/cryptsetup.git) that
contain my fixes to the initramfs scripts and the README.
