[pkg-cryptsetup-devel] Fwd: Calamares-installer 64bit testing-live

Dear cryptsetup maintainers

Please see message below. I just want to make you aware that your
updates to cryptsetup 2.1 during the freeze that now defaults to luks2
(which grub2 in debian currently doesn't support) has consequences to
debian users and contributors and that we have to scramble to find
solutions now.

No, you're right, it's broken in Debian right now. LMDE still has
cryptsetup 2.0 and afaik manjaro temporarily downgraded back to
cryptsetup 2.0.

It seems that right now, it's going to be best to patch calamares to
specify '--with-default-luks-format=LUKS1' when doing the luksFormat.
