Hi,

On PowerPC architecture, such as ppc64le with POWER9 CPU, the vmx_crypto
modules provides CPU-based hardware acceleration for crypto operations. The
current logic seems to not include vmx_crypto module in the initramfs. As a
result all LUKS/dm-crypt mappings opened in the initramfs will have very poor
performance due to usage of a fallback non-hwaccel crypto implementation. On a
server host affected the difference in throughput with was about 4 times.

Would it be possible to automatically include vmx_crypto module in initramfs
for relevant hardware architectures? I have confirmed that adding the module
to /etc/initramfs-tools/modules resolves the issue, force-loading not needed.

Thanks,
