Cyrus SASL plans for the lenny cycle

Hi,

Those of you who read debian-release will have noticed that the release
team has been asking the big packaging teams what their plans are for
the next 24 months, both with regard to upstream releases and Debian
packaging. We already branched for etch in February, and I called for
ideas and test systems for unstable development.

File wishlist bugs
==================

At this point, please just go ahead and file wishlist bugs. We can sort
and discuss as the bugs appear.

How do we reach our users to encourage them to file wishlist bugs? I
would presume that a lot of our users can be found on debian-isp in
addition to upstream's mailing list. Posting an announcement to these
would probably work. Any other fora that could reach our users? Using
d-d-announce is probably not going to reach the right audience, IMO.

Roll call
=========

We haven't seen much activity since we reached our etch goals. We don't
want to fall asleep and let our package slip into the shape we just got
it out of, and then quickly patch things up just in time for lenny.

Therefore, I'm asking for a roll call for our team. If you're in the
team and will be able to do some work during the lenny cycle, please
reply.

If you're not in the team and would like to do some work during the
lenny cycle, please mail me your alioth id and I'll add you to the
project. Note that you can always contribute by sending patches to the
BTS.

At some point, I'll clean away the inactive team members from the alioth
project, so that we have a realistic view of our human resources.

Ok, let's do it!

Cheers,
