Bug#315617: Possible slapd ssl details

A while ago I tried to switch to sudo-ldap on one of my machines. For
security reasons, I only use ldap over SSL. This caused some breakage.
I have detailed my troubleshooting with the sudo-ldap issue here:

http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/pkg-openldap-devel/2007-April/001140.html

I wonder if the two issues might be related. I have begun to suspect
that the problem is in LDAP and not in sudo-ldap in the above case.

This may also be the case with respect to #315617. Of course, it is
also possible that the submitter's follow up to the initial report
indicates that this is really a non-bug in saslauthd.

Regards,

-Roberto
