Final round of enhancements before lenny

Hi all,

The current release goal for lenny is sometime in September this year.
For cyrus-sasl2, that goal is easily met. Our package is in great shape
compared to what we started out with, and for lenny, we're reintroducing
Heimdal Kerberos support. So we're doing good.

But we could do better. We still have a number of "hard" bugs open --
segfaults and memory leaks. And we still don't provide the documentation
we've been talking about for so long.

I'm doing another round of bug investigation, and I think I'll be able
to close #153915/#379810 or at least confirm that the cause is not in
cyrus-sasl2's code. Perhaps I'll get something else done as well.

As for the docs, it seems that all attempts at lowering the barrier to
collect even tiny bits of information has failed. But I'm not giving up.
I'm asking you all again to dump your memory contents in whatever way
you can. Write down what you know (or what you don't know) about setting
up Cyrus SASL with different authentication methods, storage backends
and integration with other software, and send it to this mailing list or
write it into our wiki (http://wiki.debian.org/PkgCyrusSASL). There are
no requirements of quality or completeness at this point. It's raw
information, and it'll be sorted later. If you feel too embarrassed to
put the stuff up for public display, just send it to me in private
mail. ;)

We still have some time left to introduce a final round of enhancements,
and especially documentation enhancements should be easy to get included
even quite close to the release. So go on, pick some part and write
about it!
