Bug#741037: log errors

Package: libsasl2-modules-ldap
Version: 2.1.25.dfsg1-6+deb7u1

I was seeing errors from postfix:

Mar 7 18:15:50 postfix/smtpd: auxpropfunc error invalid parameter supplied
Mar 7 18:15:50 postfix/smtpd: _sasl_plugin_load failed on
sasl_auxprop_plug_init for plugin: ldapdb
Mar 7 18:15:50 postfix/smtpd: canonuserfunc error -7
Mar 7 18:15:50 postfix/smtpd: _sasl_plugin_load failed on
sasl_canonuser_init for plugin: ldapdb

The first and third messages are sent to syslog with priority ERR

I found this page:

http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/2007-December/048828.html

which suggests simply removing the package (in that case, the equivalent
RPM) and that made the errors stop while everything else still appears
to work.

I'm using saslauthd rather than direct sasl to LDAP and LDAP wasn't
referenced in the /etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd.conf

Should this package be less noisy when not explicitly configured?
