[Pkg-dpdk-devel] socket perm/ownership patch in 17.05 is broken

Hi,
since I tested on 16.11.x for so long I didn't realize that before now.
We said I'll test that before we move 17.05 from experimental to unstable
and here we (and a partner) found something.

I was debugging a case where adding dpdkvhostuser ports on openvswitch is
failing.
It turns out it is caused by the socket/owner patch that is needed to
attach unprivileged guests.
I'm now at debugging this (and the client mode ports) and will (hopefully)
come back with a fix.
So far this is a FYI heads up.

This is blocking the move of 17.05 from experimental, which in turn blocks
the appearance of 17.08
I hope I have more later or at least until our call tomorrow.
