I've searched for some documentation on our workflow, but have found
none. So i've tried to make sense of the branches in the git repo, but
have (obviously ;) failed.

I though it was some variant on madduck's layout
(http://people.debian.org/~madduck/talks/vcs-pkg_lca2008_2008.01.28/slides.s5.html and http://madduck.net/blog/2007.10.03:packaging-with-git/) with 'master' replacing 'build' (the integration branch) and 'debian' instead of madduck's 'master'. This seemed quite sensible to me, because after cloning from alioth, the checkout would be ready for use with git-buildpackage.

So, to avoid any more misunderstandings, could someone who understands
'our workflow' write it down somewhere (perhaps in the wiki).
