[Pkg-e-devel] Updated pkg-e packages

Hi

I've at last built updated set of pkg-e packages (libs, python bindings, 
e17/illume) for armel, and put those to my repo at

deb http://yoush.homelinux.org:8079/debian freerunner main

As previously, these packages are the same as uploaded to Debian (and stuck 
in NEW), with ~fr.1 added to version strings.

I've tried to install those into my Freerunner.

apt-get dist-upgrade was unable to resolve the upgrade with all those ugly 
package renames, and suggested to uninstall e17

aptitude dist-upgrade resolved upgrade successfully, and it completed 
without errors.

First thing I faced after the upgrade was non-working touchscreen. Likely 
caused by upgrade of xserver and/or tslib. I was able to resolve that 
quickly by changing "TslibDevice" into "Device" in /etc/X11/xorg.conf


As for e17/illume, the new package set disapponted me.

The only visible diff from the previous package set is that keyboard is now 
there.

Font is still tiny. Attempt to increase font from within e17/illume setting 
does not change font in illume title bar.

And there are still no launcher icons.

So system is still unusable. Had to go back to matchbox-based environment.


I expected that things will work.
I feel I'm loosing motivation.
Not good.
