[Pkg-e-devel] Bug#787484: e17: Laptop lid misbehavior

Dear Maintainer,


I'm using Debian 8 and E17 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 and it does some
strange things related to the lid. When I close the lid and open it
again the screen turns on again but after 10 seconds or something like
that the screen turns off again. The only way to get the computer to
wakeup again is pressing the power button. After I press the power
button it turns on again but then the computer freezes for 2 seconds
and then everything is normal again. It does this samething even if I
haven't dismissed the lock screen, its independent of the lock screen.

This doesn't happen on Gnome that is the other session that I have 
installed.
Is there a way for this to work nicely as it does in Gnome.
