[Pkg-e-devel] Handling upstream api/abi breakage

Hello all,

I'm trying to update the EFL packages to 1.15.1.  I've fixed the build &
linking issues, but don't know how to handle the api/abi breaks.
There's a lot, but upstream still sets soname to 1.

One possibility: rename all of the packages (ie, libeet1 -> libeet1.15).
 This will break local packages, but should work well-enough for Debian
built packages.  Is there an alternative?
