Either "comedidev" or "iocard" seem reasonable to me, so I guess go 
with "iocard" if you feel strongly that it's better.

As an aside, do you know of any other free software iocard 
drivers/libraries/etc? Besides comedi, the only ones I've ever encountered 
were proprietary.
