I can't reproduce your bug in the current version of gschem present in Debian
unstable, and I'm not sure this was ever really a geda-gaf bug in any case,
since so many size issues are controlled by one's choice of desktop system
and associated window manager settings.

Can you please confirm whether you think this bug still exists, or can I 
close it?
