It's not that we don't want to give access to you on the group on Salsa,
but we would like to know what kind of people we would give access then.
There comes also some responsibility with that access rights.

I was also at DebConf, but I can't remember to have detailed conversions
to non DDs in Hsinchu about joining the Salsa group of Debian
Electronics in detail, bot this does means nothing. Did you have talked
to other members of the group?

For the start there is no hard reason to have direct access to the Salsa
group, for contributing there is always the possibility to fork an
existing git tree and request a merge request if you want to start
contributing. If things going well and you have some more experience
about packaging it's later easy to grant access to the group then.

This is not to treat newcomers, but we need to have some trust to the
knowledge of the requester that there is not accidentally something
broken later that's needs at least time to get this fixed.

So as I know currently quite nothing about your skills and work and you
haven't pointed to something you have done in the past I'm currently not
really convinced to give you access to the group.
