hmm, then I need to look into the possible GitLab groups with their
rights again. May we need to add more Owners then.

done with the default settings from GitLab installation.

You may need to adjust the Package description to your needs in
'Settings - General - General project settings' and also the Merge
method in 'Settings - General - Merge request settings' if you like to
only accept Fast-Forward merging. But this is up to you.
