I was able to fix failing test with compat 11. Yet the installation 
failed in libgeda/data with this error:

 install --strip-program=true -m 644 libgeda.xml  '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/debian/tmp/usr/share/mime/packages'
 install: WARNING: ignoring --strip-program option as -s option was not  specified
 Cannot find 'install --strip-program=true -m 644'; You probably want to  pass -x $(INSTALL_DATA)
 make[4]: *** [Makefile:700: install-data-local] Error 1
 make[4]: Leaving directory '/<<PKGBUILDDIR>>/libgeda/data'
