[Pkg-electronics-devel] Request to join the Debian Electronics group (onkarshinde-guest)

Hi all,

Apologies in advance that I have to start a new thread for this. I
requested group membership from salsa but I was having hard time to find
the mailing list. When i joined the list I found that a thread was already
started to discuss my request before I joined. I was not sure if I will be
able to reply to that thread.

It has been about 7 years since I have done any packaging contribution to
Debian. At some point I used to contribute to the gnusim8085 package
maintenance because I happen to be an upstream developer. I have also
contributed to Jmeter and Electric packages out of my personal interest and
because I was keen to see java based applications kept up to date.

My current interest is mainly around gnusim8085 as I am trying to make an
upstream release which will build with GTK3 and GtkSourceView3. I have not
yet decided if I am going to contribute to other packages.

I hope this is sufficient to start with. Let me know your
questions/comments.
