I think^Wassume Arduino Developer do their best
and I agree it is a strange choice to put an executable in it's own folder.

So yes, patches to the rescue.

Please be aware that non ideal patches  are waaayyyy better then no patch  :-)

"work in progress"  is the best point of view


How has what is unclear.  Along the way we have the puzzle together.
We, whoever we is, are now on this mailinglist. Collecting of puzzles pieces
is just started.
