seems I was a bit to optimistic (and you are right).

The linker is failing on mips64el while linking the shared library 
_eeschema.kiface if clang is used as compiler suite. The linker is doing 
a segfault while trying to link all the stuff.

I currently running a test build with GCC9 and this looks better as no 
issue is visible on the same part so far. The modifications needed are 
now a bit more in order to get the pieces right and easy merge-able 
later into the stretch-backport branch.
