[Pkg-electronics-devel] iverilog 11.0 update

Hi Debian Electronics Team,

I see on https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/iverilog that iverilog has
correctly been detected to have a new upstream version.
It is also marked for auto-removal due to a bug (#966850) that seems to
likely have been solved in the said new version.

Is there:
a) Any ongoing effort to package this new version?
b) Reasonable for me, a total newbie on Debian packaging, to somehow help
to get 11.0 packaged?
