Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "binutils-sh-elf":

 * Package name    : binutils-sh-elf
   Version         : 1 (it's a native package)
 * URL             : https://sourceware.org/binutils/
 * License         : GPL-3+
   Section         : devel

It builds those binary packages:

  binutils-sh-elf - GNU binary utilities for embedded SuperH devices

To access further information about this package, please visit the
following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/binutils-sh-elf/

Alternatively, one can download the package with dget using this
command:

  dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/binutils-sh-elf/binutils-sh-elf_1.dsc

Changes for the initial release:

 binutils-sh-elf (1) experimental; urgency=low
 .
   * Initial release. (Closes: #980889)

I've been in touch with the Electronics Team about maintaining this
under their umbrella, but it seems they've had their hands full lately.
Perhaps another sponsor would be interested in getting this package
kicked off.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, my primary motivation is to make a
GCC+Newlib SuperH toolchain that can be used to build carl9170.
carl9170 is libre firmware for AR9170 USB wireless dongles. It seems
that SuperH is ubiquitous in other embedded gizmos however.

I've filed a Lintian bug for the bogus warning about missing build
targets. The package should be built against experimental.
