Hello Tobias,

upstream did release new versions of gerbv.
I've uploaded 2.8.0-1 to unstable recently.

Upstream also moved now to GitHub and there is now also a bug report
with the exact same topic as you reported in the past into the Debian BTS.

If you have new discoveries, specially in the new version of gerbv
please forward them to the bug report on GH.
