The underlying problem is with the way the lepton-eda developers refer
to shared libs in the Makefile.am content in scheme library build
directories.  The side effect is that the binary looks for the name of 
the library as presented in the -dev package, not the actual runtime
binary library.  I'd already found and fixed a couple such bugs, but
upstream hasn't (yet?) changed their approach so I'm carrying the
patches along for now.  It's hard for me to catch these before upload
since I always tend to have the dev libs installed on my laptop which
allows the binaries to work here.  Sorry about that!

In the short term, you can install libglib2.0-dev and things will work.
For the longer term, I've added another patch to to the lepton-eda
Debian package build and will report this case upstream.  Look for
1.9.16-2 to be uploaded shortly.
