Package: verilator
Version: 4.038-1
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: gonsolo at gmail.com

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I tried to play around with https://github.com/llvm/circt.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

    Compile PyCDE from Circt.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

The following error: "CIRCT only supports Verilator version 4.110 and up. Found version: 4.038."

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

   Working PyCDE.

The actual version of verilator at https://github.com/verilator is
v4.220, the one in Debian is 4.038.1 from 2020.
