Hallo,

I want to offer a software package to the Debian's community.

The software --- SCEPTRE --- is a simulation and analysis tool
for nonlinear electric circuits and dynamic systems and was developed in
the 1970s (!!) by IBM (---> ASTAP).
Since 1972 it was freely available.

I have re-engineered this software and completely converted to
Fortran 95.

If there is any interest have a look at

https://www.thm.de/iem/wolf-rainer-novender/sceptre

which hosts the documentation and source code (SC1/SD2).

I would appreciate any comments how to proceed (or not) to make this
program available to Debian's package archive as Open-Source.
