[Pkg-electronics-devel] Klayout Status

Hi all,

The current package for KLayout is quite out of date and the watch file
doesn't properly pull tarballs from the upstream github release so I've
forked the KLayout repo, made the appropriate changes and put in a merge
request in the PKG Electronics KLayout git tree.
I am new to Debian packaging but want to help out in maintaining this
package if needed, as I use KLayout daily and have been looking for a way
that I can contribute to Debian.

Also, is there a reason that the KLayout repo is private?
