this sounds like some issue related to libngspice.

You might try to install the libngspice0 package from experimental 
release and retry your steps.

If this does not help at least some down striped KiCad project files 
would be needed so we can try to re-adjust your setup. Without any data 
it's impossible to see the issue on my side.

Please provide some more information (data, logs, steps etc.) what you 
are doing.

Extra note:
Debian is now quite short before the full freeze of the bookworm 
release, unfortunately the KiCad 7 release did happen to late by 
upstream to make it available in bookworm. Even if your issue is a 
upstream issue no fixup for the old 6.x release will happen. It's also 
possible that your issue isn't happen within KiCad 7. KiCad 7 is in 
Debian available also in the experimental release. It's build on top of 
unstable so you should be able to simply install the packages on the CLI 
after a potential modification of your sources.list data.
