[Pkg-electronics-devel] Maintain GPIB user tools in the team?

Hi,

I intend to package the userspace tools of the linux-gpib project [0]. 
Those are used to interact with GPIB (IEEE 488.2) [1].

The package is pretty much ready for upload, save for an ITP. Any 
objections that I maintain this package within the team ?

While it's not an electronics-specific package per se, interfacing with 
those devices happens via a Raspberry Pi with an according shield,
and commands to control the devices are sent from there. The devices 
themselves are e.g. digital multimeters or logic analyzers that can be 
accessed on the GPIB bus.
It is still in use in test adapters.

The source package provides a library, userspace tools, python bindings 
and documentation.
