this has slipped through while preparing the version 10.0.0.
Thanks for pointing. Removing this B-D is easy, will happen within the 
preparation for 10.0.1.

As Matthias did point out in his answer, KiCad is moving, similar to 
other bigger applications, into bundling the needed third party software 
which mostly have included some patches.
They use for long time e.g a modified variant of the libcontext library.

This very fractured part makes it (at least for me) difficult to follow 
the upstream changes close enough to catch new or also no longer needed 
build dependencies.
