Hello,

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "cocotb":

The source builds the following binary packages:

  python3-cocotb - library for writing VHDL and Verilog testbenches in Python

Changes for this release:

cocotb (2.0.1-2) unstable; urgency=medium

  * d/control: drop version constraints for pybuild-plugin-pyproject since the
    problematic versions are not in any active suite anymore.
    Thanks to Colin Watson <cjwatson at debian.org>
  * d/control: bump standards version to 4.7.4

The package has the following lintian issues:
I: cocotb source: older-debian-watch-file-standard 4 [debian/watch]
I: cocotb source: uses-deprecated-python-stdlib distutils (deprecated in Python 3.10, removed in Python 3.12) [cocotb_build_libs.py:11]

I: python3-cocotb: wrong-section-according-to-package-name electronics => python
