Dear Maintainer,

The library in debian is not ready for python version >=3.12.
Existing upstream patches missing. Namely upstream commit: 
03dc5f85050301d31aa0803e85bdda1374109b49 "Fix escape sequences treated 
as unicode laterals".

Tested on device Hantek6022BL.
