I attach eight different build logs from five different autobuilders.

I hope therefore that this qualifies as "reproducible".
If not, I don't know what will.

The error I get is different from the one reported by Chris, but this
is now version 28-4, so for simplicity and considering that the end
result is the same (package FTBFS) I'm going to assume that this is
the "same" bug that Chris reported, just that it manifests itself in a
different way.

I'm using sbuild on stretch and "dpkg-buildpackage -A", but this
package is "Arch: all" so this is equivalent to an ordinary FTBFS.

This is my build history so far:

All those builds were made on testing, so it seems as if some package
in the build-depends list entered testing between 20160815 and
20160821 and made this bug to be a lot easier to reproduce.
