[Pkg-erlang-devel] init grace period patch

Hey guys,

I finally got a chance to put together the init patch for couchdb. I threw in a
10 second grace period for the beam and heartbeat processes to quit before the
init script decides whether to succeed or fail. 

It passed the tests, including piuparts on various archs. 

If you guys could try it out before we release that'd be great. I want to make
sure we don't have any more timing issues on various configurations.

p.s. This patch will need to be back ported to stable in order for us to get a
version bump in stable.
