[Pkg-erlang-devel] Information about CouchDB

Hello,
while packaging desktopcouch (co-maintainer CCed), I found a versioned 
dependency on couchdb in the "desktopcouch" package available in Ubuntu.

In particular, they depend on couchdb-bin (>= 0.10.0-0ubuntu3) (same package 
as "couchdb", just different name, AFAICT).
Depending on a revision usually means they fixed a bug from that particular 
release, and reading their changelog reveals:

I suspect that the particular bug they needed to be fixed was OAuth's one.

Assuming that -0ubuntu1 and Debian's -1 come from the same codebase, and since 
these packages came almost a month before Debian's 0.10.0-1 (same version, 
first Debian release), I'm wondering whether this bug is present in your 
package, or if it has already been fixed with the first release.
If yes, it's safe for us (desktopcouch) to depend on >= 0.10.0, otherwise we 
need to depend on a particular release -- and it's your turn to tell us which 
one :-)
