It turns out that it's fixed in 0.10.1 indeed.
The OAuth bug was fixed in:

  http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=revision&revision=825402

I checked whether that patch was in our version, and it is. So I'm adding an
alternative dependency as follows:

  Depends: couchdb-bin (>= 0.10.0-0ubuntu3) | couchdb (>= 0.10.1)

On a side note, Ubuntu has a "couchdb-bin" package, which has been split from
"couchdb" to have it available without starting the system service. This is a
situation common to many packages, mysqld it's the first coming to mind.
Do you have any plan in splitting them? This way, the difference between
Debian and Ubuntu would just be a version number, without behavioural
differences (namely, the service starting at boot time).

Thanks for replying so fast,
David
