I've uploaded the package, and it's already accepted to unstable.
Though to be promoted to testing it should be uploaded as a source
package, not as a binary one (there's some inconsistency in the
current uploading rules where new packages must be uploaded as
binaries, but after they're accepted they can't go to testing and must
be uploaded as sources again). So, could you prepare another source
package at Salsa (2.5.0-2), and I'll upload it.
