Hi Alex,

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce this behavior. I've tried to upgrade
Erlang on real hardware, on QEMU. Every time the upgrade went fine.
Therefore I'm lowering the bug severity.

Does beam get OOM killed if you remove Erlang completely and install it again?
