I didn't meant to convince you by writing this patch. I did the patch
before I knew about this bugreport. I didn't want it to get lost, so
I sent it in anyway. Maybe it's useful for someone.
Anyway, I _do_ think that this feature or something similiar would be
nice to have for sarge+1 (it's certainly not important enough to apply
it during the freeze), because there is a number of people out there
who would use it. Of course, I don't really know how big this number
is.
