Not sure, sorry :-S The problem does seem to be DNS related though.
I've changed the setup so that my NAT gateway (not this computer) does
the DNS lookups/caching. Now exim4 only takes 2-3 seconds to load.
This is a laptop, however, so I'm not sure that this fix will apply to
when I am not connected to the LAN (or Internet).
