exim4 configuration

I have some concern to the recent work that has been done on the default
configuration in exim4-config, so I'll share it here.

The most important one is: why all the macros? The split config is
already fragile, and the definition of macros looks like it's predating
all the flexibility gain of the split config by itself. The config files
look overly-hairy now. I was pretty happy of the status before 4.50-5.

Now where I am supposed to find a list of all the available
conditionals? Their defaults? Where am I supposed to define them so that
I have some real advantage when upgrading? main/00_something?
