Can you remember (maybe from an earlier backup), what was the
numerical gid of the Debian-exim group before it got removed?

exim4 uses normal adduser/deluser calls to handle the system user and
system group, and base-passwd only is concerned with the gid range
below 100 where normal adduser doesn't do any group creations.

I cannot reproduce this bug. Tagging appropriately. Please help.

I will close this bug at the end of February 2005 unless the bug is
reproducible by then.
