I have installed a trial Bitdefender antivirus SMTP version for
integrate with exim4.
I have configurate Bitdefender on SMTP port 25
I have change in /etc/default/exim4 this line:

# options for daemon listening on port 25
SMTPLISTENEROPTIONS='-oX 10025'

for run exim4 on port 10025.

when /etc/init.d/exim4 start, exim4 run but on /var/run/exim4 the .pid
process does not appear, and when /etc/init.d/exim4 stop the process of
exim4 does not stop because the pid file does exist.

No news from the bug reporter, so I assume that the problem has been
solved by using the suggestion I have given here.

Submiter, please feel free to re-open the bug report if you think
there is something that the exim4 packages can do.
